Have you ever had a workout where after your efforts you had to sit down to gain some composure? Where you went so hard you thought you would ralph up what you had for lunch over 4 hours ago? Where your core was so tight and you pushed so hard you thought you might lose your vision?

Welcome to track cycling. Or at least my version of track cycling.

I know my workout was good just from the sheer amount of hours I slept last night. I didn't wake up until 8:45 this morning - a solid 10 hours. Sounds like I'm doing something right.

And today? Some speedy sprints along Golden Gardens. Fabulous!

Jen,
Nice job this weekend. You smoked the S2S race! I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed being around ya'll this weekend. I have been having a really hard time lately trying to adjust to a full time career. I was under this silly impression that I could only play or work. I was about ready to put running on the back burner because I thought I didn't have enough time. Foolish. I was starting to get really bored, bored with everything. I needed to play, and I want to play everyday (or as much as reasonably possible). This weekend sealed the deal for me. I saw you and the reast of the S2S gang and realized one can be successful in a career as well as an increadable athelete.
So I have set some goals for the next couple of monthes. I realized that just because I have this large commitment that I don't need to sacrifice my passions.
Well that was a mouth full, I really wanted to share how insperational you were though.
Have fun!

Life is too short not to follow your passions....
It was great being around you too this weekend! You're an inspiration yourself - nice work at that recent race you did! I look forward to hearing more about your adventures and goals...
