I just received word that the bike I might have been able to ride for the season was veto'd and put back into the travel fund. The only reason I'm a little bummed abou the situation is that I got my hopes up, like I knew I shouldn't have, and then when it didn't work out I got a little upset. It' s not like I was promised anything for being on the team - I'm not even sure if I have to pay for the entire cost of the jersey's yet. I guess you just have to roll with the punches.
I'd like to take back my bashing I posted earlier. I wrote it out of anger and don't think it expressed how I truly felt about the situation. Gregg's is a great team - I just got my hopes up a little too high when I shouldn't have.
Enough said.
